Typical Time for a Single Tyre

A single tyre replacement with AK Tyres takes 20 to 30 minutes from arrival to driving away. This includes jacking the vehicle, removing the old tyre, fitting and balancing the new tyre, and checking tyre pressure.

For most standard cars on a clear driveway or quiet road, we aim to be done in under 25 minutes per tyre.

Full Set of Four Tyres

Replacing all four tyres typically takes 60 to 90 minutes. We work efficiently and carry all tools on the van — there's no waiting for a ramp to free up like at a garage.

What Affects the Time?

• Number of tyres — obviously the more tyres, the longer it takes
• Alloy wheels — locking wheel nuts slow things down slightly
• Seized bolts — older or corroded vehicles can add 10–15 minutes
